Dunedin Causeway

Welcome to the unofficial HQ of the Florida Ski Riders, the Dunedin Causeway! This sandy stretch of launch able real estate is a valued local treasure as its 2.5-mile route leads directly to one of Americas Best Beaches, Honeymoon Island. Here, you can catch a ferry across the channel and arrive at yet ANOTHER best beach in America and rest your toes in the white sands of Caladesi Island. This is one of the stops on our Dunedin Excursion Event hosted twice a year, so be sure to come join us this year and experience the ride with hundreds of other PWC’s! Hours & Parking The Causeway is open for recreational activities from 5am – 11pm. Parking is free along the Dunedin Causeway. Boat / Watercraft Launch The Dunedin Causeway is a popular location to launch a variety of watercraft including motorized boats, jet skis, wave runners, sailboats and kayaks. Please note, there are no paved ramps. The southern facing area is divided into four separate sections. There are no watercraft regulations for the northern side of the Causeway. It would be wise to take a look at the tides and try and load/unload during high tide as its kind of shallow.
