The Polar Bear Ride has been tossed around by a Florida Ski Rider for a few years. His love of riding never quits, so what’s a little bit of cold anyways! On JANUARY 2nd, 2022, we are calling out all of you HARDCORE riders that a little sub-zero wind and water doesn’t phase. We are going to absolutely RIP THE COAST this winter as we head into the New Year. Stopping at JOHNS PASS VILLAGE AND BOARDWALK, we will be able to enjoy lunch and refuel if needed. It will be a 45 minute ride south on the Gulf down the beach coastline, if the weather permits its going to be a great one!
Are you the kind of rider that puts over 100 hours per year on your ski? Do you get excited when a hurricane comes to town? Are you one of the few riders that throws on the wetsuit and enjoys 12 months of riding every year?
THIS RIDE IS FOR YOU! LET’S RIP THE COAST TOGETHER!

Who’s Idea Was This Anyways?
Well, his name is Andy and he is one of the best people to have on a ride to share some memories with. Andy has mentioned this Polar Bear Ride for quite some time now. Years, to be exact. If any of you ride the cooler months, you can be sure to see Andy out ripping up and down the coast. Check out this video of his tune by Reliable Tuning on his 2018 RXT-X 300. Great review video and it will give you an idea of how Andy rides! ????
Dunedin Causeway Launch
The ride starts at one of our favorite spots, the Dunedin Causeway. We put together a guide for you to navigate your way in and around this causeway. You can find that 3min read in our FEATURED RIDING AREA section or by clicking HERE.
So wake up the day after New Years Day and break away from the normal and come ride with us as we head south and RIP THE COAST down to Johns Pass. Weather is looking good with temps in the high 70’s and low chances of rain.
We welcome ALL riders with any affiliation to any club to come join us SUNDAY JANUARY 2nd, 2022 for an experience that will sure be one to remember!
If you need to contact us, please message us on Instagram or Facebook directly with any questions about the very first ride of the new year! See you on the water!
